Hey folks! I have a blog where I discuss activism topics. The url is in my sig. It is a WordPress blog, and I want to spruce it up a bit, and really make it mine. Can you all check it out, and give me some ideas? It would be good if those of you who know WordPress can help out, because that site is a bear to navigate, and I can't find the information that I want on it. I hope that I won't have to change blog scripts because I don't know if I can import my posts. I would eventually like to put Adsense on the blog, so if you know how to do it, plese let me know. I don't know I should put it on now because 99% of my visitors are robots. I am listed in several directories, but the visitors haven't come yet. Thanks in advance! _________________ Help Make The World A Better Place For All!

| One thing that pops out at me immediately is the lack of pictures on your blog. People like looking at pictures instead of reading, reading, reading. That's my two cents. |

How do I put them on there? Thats what I can't figure out. I would like to put a pic on the home page. I did put a pic in one post, but I am able to insert an image. I want a pic on the home page, but thats php, and I don't really know much about that. _________________ Help Make The World A Better Place For All!

I learned how to put a picture under the header so now when you go to my blog, you'll see a picture of me and my colleagues on a march. I am waiting for instructions on how to add more pics on the side, and when I do, I'll let you know. _________________ Help Make The World A Better Place For All!

Ok, I get a couple of pics in the sidebar. One thing that I might consider doing in the future is to create posts that consist of nothing but images. That will break the monotony. Take a look and tell me what you think. _________________ Help Make The World A Better Place For All!

Hmm. I don't see any pictures in the sidebar. Are you still moving things around?
Also, the photo placement at the top looks a little awkward, like the title is overlapping it.
You may want to consider leaving a little whitespace between the two, and perhaps, a small border on the picture.
These are really not all that important though. I like reading blogs for the sake of the written contents,
and yours continues to be top-notch. Interesting material, well written.
A couple of side-photos would make the page a little more interesting to look at, but aren't really necessary to enjoy the site. _________________

You're right, mondine. In IE, everything looks fine, but in Firefox, the pictures, indeed, the entire sidebar is on the very bottom. I imagine that I would have to figure out how to redo this so that it looks ok in Firefox. I did put some space between the header and the image, and that looks ok in both browsers. Thanks very much for the kind words regarding my writing. That means a lot! _________________ Help Make The World A Better Place For All!
